Feria de Minis de Barcelona 2012 - Barcelona mini Show 2012

Acabo de volver de la Feria de Miniaturas de Barcelona, cansada pero bien. No he parado de hablar en los dos días de Feria. Agradecer a todas y todos los que habéis venido a saludar y que habéis sido un montonazo, a los que expresamente, aún no siendo del mundo miniaturil, habéis venido a la Feria a ver mi mesa. Muchas muchas gracias

Mesa brocante en miniatura - Miniature Brocante table

Creo que va a ser la última miniatura que os enseño antes de la Feria del fin de semana...

Esta es una mini diferente a las que hago habitualmente y pero salió así, de repente aprovechando cosas que ya tenía y haciendo otras. Espero que os guste, en Barcelona la veréis en directo y por supuesto sino se vende llegará a Madrid o a Etsy☺

Me imagino esta mesa en una tienda de decoración, he puesto brocante pero no tiene porque ser exactamente un brocante o un anticuario. Solo pienso en este tipo de tiendas que me gustan a mí tanto, donde puedes rebuscar entre mil cosas, algunas muy viejas y otras no tanto, y que siempre acabas encontrando un pequeño tesoro. Donde se dan la mano viejos artículos oxidados, preciosa porcelana, metal o cristal...donde se da la mano lo pasado y lo nuevo.

This is a diferent miniature for me but it "apepared" very easily from my head. I used some old stuff and I did some new. Hope you like it. It will be available in Barcelona, and of course if it is not sold, will be in Tom Bishop Madrid or in Etsy.

I can imagine this table in a decoration shop, not necessarily a brocante shop but of course in one of those beautiful shop full of stuff. Where you always can find a jewel, with old items and others not so old. Where you can find together rusty old thing, beautiful China, glass, metal...where past and present walk together.

My Mediterranean tables has been published this month (Sept 2012) in the Spanish Miniatures magazine called "Miniaturas" HAPPYYYY!! 

En la Feria de Artesanos Miniaturistas de Barcelona del próximo fin de semana (15-16 de Septiembre 2012), por supuesto habrá más modelos de Mesas Mediterráneas disponibles.

Yolanda

Estoy realmente muy triste, muy añorada y muy rota. Nuestra querida Yolanda, Teddy en los foros, la chica que le gustaba el azul, se fue ayer por la mañana para siempre. 
En Octubre del 2008 empecé este blog y empecé con el foro de Tus Miniaturas...y al poco Yolanda de un pueblo muy cerca, me invitó una tarde a su casa a conocerla, a ver sus casitas y a conocer otras miniaturistas.
En aquel momento a mi me pareció rarísimo que alguien que no me conocía de nada, solo por cuatro comentarios virtuales me invitase a su casa...mucho psicópata suelto hay y muchas películas he visto ☺ y yo todavía no había conocido la "magia" de la blogosfera. Tiempo más tarde cuando le conté esa primera impresión nos reímos mucho juntas. La cuestión es que acepté y ahí empezó realmente mi relación con la estupenda comunidad de miniaturistas. Fue una preciosa tarde donde yo no dejé de asombrarme de la calidez de Yolanda y de su permanente sonrisa. Una mujer que la vida no le puso para nada las cosas fáciles pero que toda ella era como un gran Teddy, un osito para dar y recibir abrazos.
La última vez que nos vimos, hace un mes y ya en el hospital seguimos bromeando... teníamos pendiente hacer juntas un arbolito, unnaranjo enano, y al hablarle yo de mis nervios por a Bishop Madrid ella me comentó la ilusión que le hacía ir y que esperaba que así fuera. 
Desde luego en la Feria de Barcelona se la va a echar mucho de menos porque ella estaba siempre allí en todos los recuerdos de mis ferias.
Yolanda cariño, que tengas los sueños más dulces, sigue haciendo esos preciosos libros en mini cuando te apetezca y que sepas que todas las lágrimas que derramamos es porque te queremos mucho. Arnau, que se acuerda de ti, me ha dicho que te envía un beso y que puedes jugar con el conejito que se nos fue hace un año.

I'm really very sad and very broken. Our dear Yolanda, Teddy in the forums, the girl he liked the blue, passed away yesterday morning.
In October 2008 I started this blog and started with your a miniature forum ... and soon Yolanda, from a town near mine, invited me to her home to meet her, to see their houses and meet other miniaturists.
At that time I thought it was very strange that someone who did not know me at all, only four virtual comments invite me to her home ... much psycho loose there and I have seen many movies ☺ and I still had not met the "magic" of blogland. Some time later when I told her that first impression we laugh a lot together. The point is that I accepted and that really began my relationship with the great community of miniaturists. It was a lovely evening where I did not stop to amaze me the warmth of Yolanda and her permanent smile. A woman who has not a easy life  but anyway she was like a big Teddy, a teddy to give and receive hugs.
The last time we saw her, a month ago and already in the hospital, we kidding ... slope we do together an orange dwarf tree and I talk to her about my nerves for Madrid Bishop and she explained me the illusion to go and that she hope could go.
Certainly in the Barcelona Fair will be greatly missed because she was always there in all my memories of Mini Shows.
My dearest Yolanda,  darling, Hope you have the sweetest dreams, keep making those beautiful mini books whenever you want and you know that all the tears we shed it's because we love you. Arnau, who remembers you, told me that he sends a kiss to you and you can play with the bunny who left us a year ago.

Fregadero en miniatura - Miniature sink

Normalmente imagino una situación, una pequeña historia y de ahí salen mis miniaturas, de ahí nacen. Mis miniaturas suelen ser pequeñas composiciones que intentan reflejar la historia que yo imaginé o que espero que el nuevo dueño o dueña ya imagine la suya.

En este caso con este fregadero no fue así....

Creo que fue en Marzo o Abril cuando Laura, de Evolve, me "retó" en broma a hacer algo que yo nunca había hecho y que se apartaba un poco de mis diferentes tipos de mesas (náutica, pastelera, de jardinería...) y de mi mundo de fantasía. Así que compré el fregadero todo blanco.

Y me bloqueé :) Solo me venían ideas similares a otras compañeras, como Ana de Mi mundo en Rosa, que hacen preciosidades con este mismo modelo de fregadero. Por unos días pensé en rosa....y aunque me gusta mucho no lo veía como una miniatura mía.

Así que lo aparqué durante unos pocos meses. Luego volví y puse el agua en el fregadero con el plato a medio lavar y alicaté las dos encimeras con esos mini azulejitos...uno a uno....

Hice la jalea de lima, el botecito que está en la encimera de mla izquierda....Lo volví a dejar....

Y ya en Agosto me dije que lo tenía que acabar para la Feria de Barcelona...

Después de varias pruebas hice los azulejos del fondo con arcilla polimérica. Creo que fueron un acierto porque le dan un toque diferente a la pieza.

Puse el plato con un pedazo pastel de chocolate a medio acabar, el que se lo comió debía estar lleno, y ahora esta para lavar.

Al lado un viejo periódico tienen unas mondas de patata y una patata a medio pelar (en la cocina están preparando una puré) mientras que en la otra encimera se están preparando un zumo de naranja con un toque de lima.

Abajo hay una caja con verduras: berenjena, patata y zanahoria y en el otro lado hay un tarro de compota de fresas.

El fregadero no es actual pero tampoco es antiguo, es lo que uno le apetezca que sea.

Normally I imagine a situation, a small history and from that point is when my miniatures born. My miniatures are small compositions Where I try to reflect the history that I had imagined before or for at least hope that the new owner could imagine a new one. In this case with this sink it was not like that.... I think that it was in March or April when Laura, from Evolve, "challenged" me (joking) to do something that I had never done before and that was a little a bit different from my types of tables (nautical, bakery, of gardening ...) and from my world of fantasy. So I bought the totally white sink. And I shielded myself:) Only I was capable to think in ideas similar to other miniaturist, as Ana from Mi Mundo en Rosa, which does preciousness with the same model of sink. For a few days I thought about rose .... and though I like it much did not see it as my miniature. So I parked it for some months. Then I turned and put the water in the sink with the plate to way to wash and tiled the two stope top with this mini tiles ... one to one.... I did the jelly of lime, the little glass jar that is in the left stove top.... I turned It to stopping.... And already in August I said to myself that it had to end it for the Miniature Barcelona Show... After several tests I did the blue tiles of the bottom with polymer clay. I believe that they were a success because they give it a  different touch from to the piece. I put the plate with a cake portion of chocolate to way to finish, the fact that one ate it had to be full, and now this one to wash. Aside a old newspaper with potato peels and a potato to way peel (in the kitchen they are preparing mashed potatoes) whereas in another stope top a juice of orange is prepared by a touch of lime. Below there is a box with vegetables: aubergine, potato and carrots and in another side there is a jar of compote of strawberries. The sink is not modern but it is not ancient either, is what he desires one that it is.
