El concurso de dormitorios - The bedroom contest

Al fin puedo empezar a enseñar lo que me ha llevado de cabeza estos dos últimos meses. Al final decidí presentarme al concurso de escenas que se organizaba para la Fira de Miniaturas de Barcelona que se celebró este fin de semana pasado. La temática era un dormitorio y aquí tenéis mi aportación. Os iré enseñando todos los detalles poco a poco porque hay muchos regalos de mucha gente que quiero nombrar. Hoy solo os muestro un poquito y en próximos posts os iré explicando todo.

Al final llegamos 6 escenas a concurso, todas geniales. Ganó una preciosa escena rústica y mi dormitorio quedó segundo a solo 6 votos. Así que para mi es un triunfo y me siento muy feliz porque sé que gustó muchísimo.

A partir de mañana os cuento todo lo que hay en la escena y el porqué. Y también habrá posts con las compras de la feria.

Finally I can shw you what I have been doing these last two months. I decided to apply to the contest of scenes that was organized bythe Barcelona Miniatures Fair that was held this last weekend. The subject was a bedroom and here you have my contribution. I will show you all the details to you step by step because there are so many gifts of mini friends that I want to name. Today only I show you a general view and in near posts I will be explaining everything to you.

We were 6 scenes to contest, all brilliant. The winner was a precious rustic scene and my bedroom was second to only 6 votes. So for my it is a victory and I feel very happy because I know that it liked very much.

From tomorrow I tell you everything what is in the scene and why. And also it will have posts with my purchases, a lot of raw material.

Nuevos proyectos - New projects

Ahora que estoy a punto de terminar mi escena naútica, ya he empezado a pensar en nuevos proyectos con miniaturas. Tengo muchas cosas que me gustaría hacer y a las cuales les doy vueltas mentalmente.

Me gustaría que me dijérais que os parecen...

1. Hay una fantástica miniaturista que hace pequeñas librerías monotemáticas llamada Adriana Carugo. Vi sus trabajos en la revista Miniaturas de hace unos meses y me gustaron mucho. Así que voy a cogerle la idea básica pero evidentemente voy a hacerla a mi modo. Quiero hacer una pequeña escena en una vitrina que sea solo un mueble librería lleno de cosas mágicas relacionadas con la brujería, con muchos libros antiguos, gatos negros, bichos varios, calabazas, pociones.....Seguro que me divierto un montón. Os dejo una foto de donde voy a meterlo.

Now that I am already finishing my nautical scene, I have started thinking about new projects with miniatures. There are many things that I would like to do and I hope that you tell me what do you think about them.

1. There is a miniaturist who makes small monothematic bookcases, called Adriana Carugo. I saw her works in the Spanish miniatures magazine few months ago and I liked them very much. So I am going to take the basic idea although evidently I am going to do it to my way. I want to do a small scene in a showcase with only a bookcase full of magic things related to the witchcraft like many ancient books, black cats, different insects, pumkins, potions... It is sure that I will have a lot of fun. I leave you a photo where I want to place the witchy bookcase.

2. Hace un tiempo compré mi primera casa de muñecas. Pequeñita. es la casita Buttercup de la marca americana Greenleaf. Y después de darle un montón de vueltas he decido hacer un pub inglés en el piso de abajo y su almacén en el de arribar. Creo que esto es un reto muy muy grande. No se si lo conseguiré pero al menos lo voy a intentar.

2. Sime time ago I bought my first dollhouse. Small. It is the Buttercup house from the American brand Greenleaf. After a lot of doubts I have decide to make an English pub and its warehouse on the upper floor.
I am sure that it this is a very very big challenge for me. I do not know if finally I will achieved it but at least I am going to try it.
Y 3. Veo algunos blogs de mini amigas haciendo cosas preciosas en el estilo romántico shabby chic que creo que al final también caeré y más adelante haré una habitación en ese estilo, o al menos a ver como se sale.

Mucho trabajo ¿verdad? yo creo que con el pub tengo para más de un año....además seguro que en medio voy haciendo otras cosas según el humor que tenga.

And 3. I see some blogs of mini friends doing beautiful things in the romantic style chic shabby. So I believe that I will fall down and I will do something in this style later on.

I would like to do a shabby chic bedroom.

A lot of work, right? I think that with the pub I have for more than one year work .... in addition it is sure that in the way I will do other things depending on my mood.
