Mi padre de casi 84 años (los cumple en 1 mes) tiene como hobby construir maquetas de casas, hacer cuadros y vitrinas de vidrio emplomado, pesebres... A veces he publicado sobre sus trabajos en este blog, podéis verlos aquí. En este caso hace casi un año, construyó esta casa que está aproximadamente a escala 1/48 y me pidió que la decorara. No es nada fácil porque la casa es maciza y aparte de la abertura en la trasera, no se puede abrir nada más y hay rincones difíciles de pintar porqué las manos no caben. Como le gusta mucho el mar, le he dado un poco de aire marinero. Compré unos cuantos kits de muebles a escala 1/48, los monté, pinté y rellené o decoré.
Es la primera vez que trabajo a esta escala y no es fácil, pero ha quedado bonita al final y ya luce en el comedor de mi padre.
La verdad es que es todo un artista, Ya veis que la casa tiene luz, él usa leds. No utiliza los artículos de casas de muñecas sino que hace sus propias instalaciones eléctricas. ¿Que voy a decir yo? que le quiero mucho y que estoy orgullosa de él

In this case almost one year ago, he constructed this house that is approximately at 1/48th scale (1/4 inch) and asked me to paint it and decorate it. It is not not easy at all because the house isa block and apart from the opening in the back, it is not possible to open anything more and there are corners difficult to paint because my hands cnnot reach them. As he likes much the sea, the house has a little seaworthy air. I bought a few kits of furniture at 1/48 scale, paint and filled or decorated. It is the first time that I work with this scale and is not easy, but I think that it looks pretty nice and already has an honour palce in my father's dining room.
The truth is that he is an artist. You can see that the house has light, he uses leds. He does not use the articles for dollhouses, so he does his own electrical system. What should I say? That I love him very much and that I am proud of him
