Solo decir que el miércoles murió Emilio en un terrible accidente de coche. El marido de una muy buena amiga, padre de dos niños pequeños y fantástica persona. Solo tenía 37 años.
Yo no dejo de pensar en él y en su familia, con esta horrible tristeza que lo invade todo.
Y desde aquí le envio un beso enorme donde quiera que esté.

Last Wednesday, Emilio died in a terrible car accident. He was one of my good friend's husband, father of two young kids and a very nice guy. He only had 37 years old.
I can not stop of thinking about him and his family with this huge sadness that is everywhere.
From here I want to send a huge kiss to him wherever he is.

El regalo de Hanna - A gift from Hanna

¡¡El regalo-premio del sorteo de Hanna ha llegado hoy!!! Es el gato y es monísimo y perfecto. Mejor en realidad que en las fotos. Hanna es una mujer muy talentosa y tengo mucha suerte. ¡¡Hoy me ha alegrado el día!!!!! ¡¡Muchas gracias Hanna!!! Cuando comencé este blog hace 7 meses yo nunca esperé nada, pero, durante 7 meses he encontrado a mucha gente y a algunos amig@s, este es mi segundo regalo de otro miniaturista (el primer era de la Eva-tatalamaru:-)), participo en varias cadenas de favores y en un par de intercambios....mil cosas nuevas. Y nunca pensé que mis manualidades podrían interesar a alguien ... y ¡mirad! Tengo seguidores, comentarios y visitantes... ¡¡Estoy impresionada!! Y me gusta este mundo,la blogosfera, me gusta visitar los blog de otros y aprender y compartir cosas y sentimientos porque todo se hace de corazón. Gracias a TOD@S por darme tantas cosas buenas.

The gift-prize from Hanna has arrived today!!! It is the cat and is so cute, perfect. Better in reality than in picture. Hanna is a very talented woman and I am very lucky. You make me happy today!!!!! Thank you so much Hanna!!! When I started this blog 7 months ago I never could expect nothing similar. I don't know if I could express in English my feelings properly but, during 7 months I have met a lot of people and make some friends, this is my second gift from other miniaturist (the first one was from Eva-tatalamaru :-)), I am participating in a chain favour and in a SWAP (I hope this is the correct word in English when you send and also receive gifts). And I never thought that my "hand made crafts" could interest someone...and look! I have followers, comments and visitors. I am shocked!! And I like this world, blogosphere, I like to visit others blog and to learn and to share things and feelings because everything is done by heart. Thank to ALL of you for giving me such a lot of good things.

Feliç Sant Jordi

Hoy es el dia Internacional del libro pero donde yo vivo es Sant Jordi, día del libro y de la rosa.
Donde todo el mundo sale a la calle a buscar la rosa y el libro para la persona amada. Un dia de lectura pero también muy romántico. A MI ME ENCANTA. Hoy trabajo hasta tarde así que me perderé bastante el ambiente a fiesta que se sule respirar en las calles repletas de puestos de libros y de rosas de todos los colores y medidas que perfuman el ambiente.
Las rosas que he recibido (foto) son de mi hijo Arnau, de mi marido Àlex, de la empresa y de mis compañeros de trabajo.

Today it is the International day of the book but where I live, is Sant Jordi (Saint George), day of the book and of the rose.
Everybody goes out to the street to look for the rose and the book for the loved person (your wife, your mum, your boyfriend...). A reading day but also a very romantic day. I LOVE THIS DAY. Today I work until evening so I will miss the environment to party that it is easy to breath in the streets full with stands of books and roses of all the colors and sizes that perfume the environment.
In the picture you can see the roses that today I have received: from my son Arnau, from my husband Àlex, from the company where I work and from my work colleagues.

Corazones de Lavanda - Lavender Hearts

Mirad que corazones de lavanda tan preciosos he comprado. Los hace Anita, una encantadora mujer, que tiene un jardín maravilloso, lleno de rosas y que es capaz de crear cosas tan bonitas como estas. Ayer me llegaron a casa estos románticos y perfumados corazones. Uno de ellos será para mi madre, porque creo que es perfecto para ella, pero los otros dos ¡son míos!

Look that I have bought: these beautiful lavender hearts. They are done by Anita, a charming woman, who has a wonderful garden, full of roses and who is capable of creating things as nice as these. Yesterday these romantic and perfumed hearts arrived at home by mail. One of them will be for my mother, because I believe that it is perfect for her, but the other two are mine!

Haciendo Croissans - Making Croissants

Ayer estuve horneando croissants, primero preparé la pasta, luego los enrollé, los pinté con huevo y los horneé. Os los dejo para que los veáis, dos croissanes a punto de entrar en el horno y uno ya bien tostadito.
Creo que tuve el fimo liquido más tiempo de lo debido y por eso se ha puesto un poco blanco...¡una cosa nueva que he aprendido!
Me gustaría mejorar la textura externa del croissan ya horneado, así que si algun@ de l@s fimo-expertos me ayuda le daré mil gracias.
Por otro lado pongo una foto de como van quedando mis intentos con Fimo y la mini-comida, en una preciosa mesa que he decapado en azul.

Yesterday I was baking croissants, first I prepared the dough, then I rolled, painted them with egg and baked them. I leave you a pic in order that you can see them, two croissanes before entering into the oven and one already baked.
I believe that I baked the liquid Fimo too much time because it had become a bit white ... a new thing that I have learned!
I would like to improve the external texture of the already baked croissan, so if someone of the fimo-experts help me I will give him or her thousand of thanks.
On the other hand I post a pic of my attempts with Fimo and the mini-food, in a beautiful table that I have scaled in blue.

Un bonito regalo hoy - A nice gift today

Hoy, al abrir el correo electrónico, he visto que había un menhsaje de Hanna, del blog Hanna & Leijona, diciéndome que era una de las ganadoras del sorteo que hizo de las 10000 visitas.
¡no me lo podía creer! Estoy emocionadísima. Hace unas mini-flores y unos animalitos de felpa o fieltro preciosos de verdad. Me pasaré los próximos días esperando el correo...

Today, when I have checked my e-mail, I saw a message from Hanna, her blog is Hanna & Leijona, saying that I am one of the winners of her 10000 draws.
I could not believed!!! I am really excited. She makes lovely and wonderful mini-flowers and felted animals. Probably I will spend the next days waiting for the mail....

Casita de Chocolate un poco torcida - Chocolate little house not so well done...

Y sigo experimentado con Fimo y esto es lo que ha salido. Al ser Pascua quería hacer una mini casita de chocolate pero ha salido un poco torcida, el icing o recubrimiento ha salido demasiado claro, con la calor del horno me han resbalado cosas....ja,ja,ja Es una buena manera de aprender. Creo que la próxima vez hornearé por etapas...Voy a seguir probando hasta estar más satisfecha ;-). ¡¡¡Cualquier consejo lo agradeceré por cierto!!!

And I continuos experimenting with Fimo and this is what has gone out. Because it was Pascua (Easter) I wanted to do a mini little house of chocolate but it has worked out a bit crooked, the icing has worked out too clear, with the heat of the oven things have slipped me .... LOL. It is a good way of learning, learning by doing. I think that I will bake the next time for stages... I am going to continue trying up to being more satisfied;-). Any advice or tip will be welcomed, I will be grateful for it certainly!!!

Today I have given the gift to Carlos, my surgeon (and also to his daughters) and I could see how a very big smile has came up to his face... It has been a good moment.
