Regaderas en miniatura - Miniature watering cans

Ya sabéis que hago más de una mini relacionada con la jardinería, supongo que es porque me gusta en mi vida 1:1. Esta vez tenía unas pequeñísimas regaderas de plástico que he pintado y decorado. Nada del otro mundo pero quedan realmente bonitas y graciosas, tan pequeñas, en mis mesas de jardinería...un pequeño vistazo a cosas que estoy preparando para la feria de Barcelona :) Feliz fin de semana.

You already know that I done more tahn one mini related with gardening, probably because I love it in my life 1:1. This time I had a very tiny plastic watering cans that I have painted and decorated. It is nothing really special but they look pretty in my potting benches...just a quick peek to what I am preparing for the Barceloan Show :) Have a nice weekend!!

Miniaturas en Singapur - Miniatures in Singapore

Aunque salgamos borrosas y cansadas (era tarde por la noche), me encanta esta foto de mi mini quedada. Llevaba un buen rato riéndome y disfrutando. Fue el punto final a un día realmente bonito. Cociné yo, bueno intenté cocinar comida española que es otra historia. No sabéis lo difícil que es girar una tortilla de patatas en un wok, además me salió salada porque no podía calcular muy la cantidad de sal. La sal estaba un poco apelmazada debido a la alta humedad y me pasé un poco, esa es la verdad. después un poco de ensalada y pan con tomate y el embutido y queso que pude encontrar (aunque no hubo manera de encontrarlo español). Pero bueno comimos y luego los postres los trajo Cindy.

¿ quien está en la foto aparte de mi aguantando la cámara? Por supuesto Susan, Cindy y Steph (pinchad y veréis sus fantásticos blogs, las tres con mucho talento).

Though the picture in not great and we look tired (it was late at night), I love this picture of our mini meeting. I had a good time laughing and enjoying our meeting. It was the end of a really nice dice. I cooked, well in fact I TRIED to cook Spanish food . You do not know how hard it is to turn a Spanish omelette (eggs, onion and potatoes) in a wok, plus I got salty because it could not calculate the amount of salt very well. The salt was a little lumpy due to the high humidity and I used too much, that's the truth. With the Spanish omelette, we had dinner, salad and bread with tomato (typical from my land) and the sausages and cheese I could find (although there was no way to find the Spanish ones). Anyway we ate dessert that brought Cindy.

¿que hace una Coca de Sant Joan en Singapur? Je, je, La coca de San Juan típica en Cataluña fue un regaló de Cindy. Unos dias antes, justo por la verbena de Sant Juan le escribí un mail diciendole que me iba a comer un poco de Coca porque era típico de ese día....y mi sorpresa fue enorme cuando al desenvolver la bandeja me la encontré...tarde bastantes segundos en mirarla y decir "Es una Coca de Sant Joan" porque mi cerebro no acertaba a comprender como podía saberlo ella... :) :) Fantástico, ¿a que si?. What does a Coca de Sant Joan in Singapore? Heh, heh, This Coca de San Joan typical from Catalonia was a gift from Cindy. A few days before,was the summer solstice, for us Sant Joan (St John) festival, I wrote a mail telling her I was going to eat a piece of Coca because it was typical of that day .... and my surprise was enormous when I unfold the tray and appears .. .It took me several seconds to look at her and say "It's a Coca de Sant Joan" because my brain could not quite understand how she could know ... :):) Great,right?. On her blogy ou can see it better, here

Y por el camino, en Singapur y Malasia también, algunas minis o materiales pude comprar

During the trip, in Singapore and in Malaysia too, I could buy few minis o materials.

Y tuvimos más regalos, no miniaturas sino tamaño real, para nosotros y para casa (me encantan) y claro está compramos muchas cosas bonitas. Ahora vemos todo eso y sonreímos, y lo haremos siempre también.

And we had more gifts, real size, for us and for home (I love them) and of course we bought many beautiful things. Now we see them and smile, and we will always do.

Cansadas pero felices - Tired but happy

Erase un vez, hace ya 2,5 años que una amistad empezó. A través de las miniaturas, a través de dos blogs con estilos muy diferentes pero con una pasión común: el relajarse trabajando con las manos y viendo el mundo a pequeña escala. Una amistad a 10000Km de distancia, con diferentes culturas pero con valores parecidos.

Y hace menos de un mes esa amistad que se forjó con mensajes de email se materializó en un abrazo a la salida del aeropuerto de Singapur donde Susan nos esperaba para llevarnos a su preciosa y mágica casa. 

Se me hace difícil transmitir lo felices que mi familia y yo nos hemos sentido con Susan (mi querida Susan) y también con sus amigos Fai y Margaret (mil gracias sois fantásticos), con su familia (un dulce encuentro) y también con Fafa (siempre con una sonrisa). Nos sentimos muy agusto, muy acogidos y muy cuidados.

Sinceramente un trocito de nuestro corazón se ha quedado con ellos pero hemos ganado nuevos amigos yestoy segura que volveremos a encontrarnos. La estancia en Singapur a superado todas nuestras expectativas y nos hemos reído mucho, hemos comido muy bien, probando nuevos sabores, vistos muchas cosas nuevas y aprendido porque nuestros guías han sido estupendos.

También tuve una gran cena con miniquedada internacional, aún sonrío al recordarlo. Me lo pasé genial Quiero hacer un post aparte para Susan, Cindy, Steph y todos los regalos :) así que ya os mostraré las fotos más tarde.

Once upon a time, 2.5 years ago a friendship began. Through the miniatures, two blogs with very different styles but with a common passion: working with our hands relax and watching the world on a small scale. A friendship 10000Km away with different cultures, but with similar values​​.

And less than a month ago that friendship that was forged thanks to email messages took the form of a hug at  the Singapore airport where Susan was waiting for us before going to her magical and beautiful house.

I find difficult to explain you how happy my family and I have felt with Susan (my dear Susan) and their friends Fai and Margaret (many thanks, you are great), her family (sweet experience) and with Fafa (always with a smile). We feel very comfortable, in a cosy home and they welcomed us warmly

Truly a piece of our heart is with them but we have new friends and I am sure that we'll meet again. The stay in Singapore exceeded all our expectations, we laughed a lot, we ate very well, trying new flavors, seen and learned many new things because our guides were great.

I also had a great dinner with international minimeeting, I am still smiling with my memories. I had so much fun I want to do a separate post for Susan, Cindy, Steph and all the gifts:) so I will show you the pictures later.

Después de esos 4-5 en Singapur volamos a Malasia, a una de las islas de la costa Este en el Mar de la China, Pulau Redang. Una playa con jungla y playas desiertas llenas de palmeras cocoteras. Un parque natural marino donde poner la cabeza bajo el agua significa ver peces de colores, coral, tortugas...una maravilla.
After those 4-5 in Singapore we flew to Malaysia, one of the islands on the East Coast in the Sea of South China, Pulau Redang. A beach with jungle and deserted beaches full of coconut palms. A natural marine park where when you put your head under water means to see colorful fish, coral reefs, turtles ... just wonderful.

Donde fuimos  a ver un espectáculo natural, miles de luciérnagas en los márgenes del río en Selangor. Parecía que alguien había esparcido polvo de hadas con miles de lucecitas titilando convirtiendo a la vegetación en árboles de Navidad. Una maravilla. Antes nos encontramos en medio de la carretera con unos macacos, nada agresivos, a los que podías dar de comer judías. Divertidísimo!
Where we see a natural phenomenon, thousands of fireflies on the banks of the river in Selangor. It seemed that someone had spread fairy dust with thousands of twinkling lights making vegetation like Christmas trees . A marvel. Before, in the middle of the road we feed few monkeys, not aggressive, with beans. How fun!

Y nos fuimos a la jungla, a la selva tropical más antigua del planeta con sus 130.000 millones de años, a Taman Negara. Una experiencia realmente fantástica, donde mi hijo disfrutó muchísimo. Llena de experiencias, de sonidos, de olores, de belleza, de calor y de animales de todo tipo (si, si, insectos y arácnidos también...je, je) Ah! y esos árboles....haré un post especial solo para los árboles de Singapur y Malasia que me han enamorado.
And we went to the jungle, the oldest tropical rainforest on the planet with its 130,000 million years, to Taman Negara. A really fantastic experience, where my son enjoyed a lot. Full of experiences, sounds, scents, beauty, warmth and all kinds animals (yes, yes, insects and arachnids as well ... heh, heh) Oh! and those trees.... I will make a special post just for trees in Singapore and Malaysia that I have fallen in love.
