Feria Minaturas BCN 2014: Concurso de escenas - primer premio / Barcelona Mini Show 2014 - Roombox contest, First Prize

Assarmicat Asociació como cada año organiza la Feria de Miniaturas de Barcelona, y también como cada año un concurso de escenas. Este año la temática fue "Nos vamos de viaje". Como no participaba como vendedora este año decidí presentarme al concurso con una Carreta (que inicialmente había de ser gitana y que terminó siendo mi estilo, nada que ver). La he titulado:

LA TROTAMUNDOS

Y estoy muy feliz porqué ha ganado el PRIMER PREMIO

La idea viene de una mujer, dueña de la carreta, que se dedica a viajar por el mundo, y poco a poco va llenando su casa de detalles de decoración comprados en diferentes sitios, y de libros relacionados con los viajes.

Muchas gracias a tod@s los que habéis votado y me habéis dedicado bonitas palabras. Había grandes escenas en el concurso así que os prometo que ni mucho menos me lo esperaba.

Assarmicat Asociació organizes every year the Barcelona Miniatures Fair, ​​as well as an annual competition scenes (a contest). This year the theme was "Let's travel" . As This year I don't participate as a exhibitor I decided to participate in the contest with a Wagon (which was initially a gypsy and that ended up being my style, completely different). I've titled:

THE GLOBETROTTER

And I am very happy because it wins the FIRST PRIZE

My idea was related with a woman, owner of the cart, who is dedicated to travel around the world, and gradually fills her house  with decoration details purchased in different places, and travel-related books.

La base es de madera y las ruedas (estas compradas). Pero la estructura y las escaleras están completamente hecha por mi con cartón muy grueso.
The base is made of wood and wheels (they are purchased). But the structure and the stairs are completely made by me with very thick cardboard.

Las hojas de la enredadera, parecida a una hiedra, están pegadas una a una y la jardinera hecha por mi.

En mi casa tengo varias figuritas de lagartos metálicos en las paredes de colorines de nuestras vacaciones en Menorca y Formentera, así que quise poner uno 
In my house I have several figures of metal lizards on the walls bright colors of our holiday in Menorca and Formentera, so I wanted to put one

Las casitas de pajaros y el pajarito están hechos por mi.
The bird house and the tiny bird are made by myself

La maleta del medio está llena de pegatinas de diferentes lugares del mundo

The suitcase is full of stickers from different places around the world

Los muebles de la cocina y cama estan hechos por mi con carton muy grueso (except la cocibna -horno que solo está pintada). El fregadero es de arcilla polimérica.

Los platos en el escurridor y el recipiente con utensilios de cocina tienen motivos holandeses que la dueña de la carreta compró cuando estuvo allí :)
The dishes in the drainer and the bowl with kitchen utensils have Dutch grounds that the Wagon owner bought when she was there :)

Las magdalenas y la nata están hechas por mi. El bote está comprado a LugArt Petit

Cupcakes and cream are made by me. The jar was bought to LugArtpetit

La mesa con los taburetes a juego los compré en un rastro y tienen motivos orientales. Mi imaginaria dueña de la carreta decidió que un toque oriental a su decoración encajaba después de haber viajado por Asia. Las flores fueron un regalo de Sonia

The table with matching stools I bought at a flea market and have oriental motifs. My imaginary owner of the wagon decided that an oriental touch was perfect in the wagon decoration and  fit after travelling around Asia. The Flowers were a gift from Sonia

He empezado una colcha de patchwork  que debería ir en esa cama, mientras he usado una que regaló Mercedes de Liberty Biberty
I have started to sew a patchwork cover for this bed but in meantime I have usedone that was a gift from Mercedes (Liberty Biberty)

El osito fue un regalo de Petitissim, el libro y el perfume de Maicu y el cojin blanco y el rosa de Angeles. El bol y el rodillo fueron un regalo de Vicky. Hay también una pequeña cabina de teléfonos inglesa en un rincón
The bear was a gift from Petitissim, books and perfume Maicu and white and pink cushion Angeles. The bowl and the rolling pin were a gift from Vicky. There is also a small English telephone booth in a corner
