¿que estoy haciendo? - What am I doing?

Pues no he avanzado mucho. Tenia pendiente algun regalito, que ya estoy terminando y con el cual me he divertido. Pero de mis proyectos poca cosa. Últimamente parece que todo se ha confabulado para tener poco tiempo. El trabajo y la familia en parte y sobretodo que llevo semanas con muchas visitas al médico para tener un diagnóstico. Dentro de muy pocas semanas volveré a entrar en quirófano. Estoy bien, nada muy grave, pero si que se hace necesario pasar por la cirugía. Si es que yo de cuatro años hacia acá, siempre tengo problemas médicos, cariñosamente digo que soy una piltrafilla. Lo mejor de este episodio será que tendré que estar unas cuantas semanas de baja y espero estar suficientemente bien para hacer muchas minis!!!! ;) Siempre al mal tiempo buena cara.

Bueno os dejo lo poco que he podido hacer. Al duende le falta parte de la ropa, el pelo, los ojos... Y el árbol va también despacito. Le faltan sus habitantes y alguna flor... Pronto los coneceréis.

This lasts weeks I have not made much progress. I am finishing some pending gifts whom I had fun but not to much more about my projects.
Lately it seems that everything has conspired to take me a lot of time. Job of course and family and especially these lasts weeks with many doctor appointments to achieve a diagnosis. Within a few weeks (in April) I will go into the operations room. I'm fine, nothing too much serious, but if it becomes necessary to have surgery. These last four years, I always have medical problems, kindly say that I am a "piltrafilla" (I do not have any idea how to translate this!!! perhaps and with affection: I am knackered). The best thing about this episode is that I must be a few weeks off and hopefully I will be well enough to make many minis!! ;) Always on a brave face and smiling ;)
Well I leave you pictures with the small progress I could do. The elf needs part of the clothing, hair, eyes ...
And working on the tree is slow too, is not finished. Soon you will know who lives there....

Regalos de Angeles - Gift from Angeles

El domingo por la tarde tuve un regalo. El regalo fue conocer a Angeles (de El Rincón de Baldu). Ella vive en Ibiza pero su familia es de Terrassa, que es donde yo vivo también, y estaba visitándolos.
Un regalazo estupendo poder conocerla, solo una horita porque hacia un frío tremendo y mi marido estaba enfermo. Aunque me pareció cortísimo fue estupendo. Es una mujer muy dulce, encantadora y generosa.
Pasé un poco de vergüenza porque yo le hice un detallito y ella me dió un montón de cosas bonitas. Aquí las tenéis. Más cositas para mi dormitorio shabby chic... ;)

On Sunday evening I had a gift. The gift was to meet Angeles (from El rincón de Baldu). She lives in Ibiza but her family in Terrassa, where I live too so she was visiting them
It was a great gift to meet her, only 1 hour because it was a very cold day and my husband was ill.
We shared very short time but was great and fabulous. She is a very sweet, charming and generous woman.
I was a little bit ashamed because I made him just one single gift and she gave me a heap of nice things. More beautiful things for my shabby chic bedroom ...;)

Para unas pequeñas damas - For little ladies

La magia y las cosas bellas deberían estar siempre presentes en nuestras vidas desde que somos pequeños. No deberíamos nunca olvidarlas.
Me apetecía hacer un regalo a las hijas de unos amigos.
Laia es hija de Anna y Josep. Anna es una de mis mejores amigas y su pequeña cumplió 2 años en Enero. Esta es mi contribución a su mundo de fantasía, para que llene su habitación.
Todo está hecho por mi con Fimo y Prosculpt básicamente.

The magic and the beautiful things should be always present in our lives since we are children. We should never forget them.
I wanted to make a gift to the daughters of a few friends.
Laia is Anna and Josep's daughter.
Anna is one of my best friends and her little princess turned out 2 years old last January. This is is my small contribution to her world of fantasy, to decorate her room.
Everything is made by me, basically with Fimo and Prosculpt.




Mar y Paula son dos hermanas, hijas de unos muy buenos amigos nuestros. Mar tiene 6 años y medio (igual que Arnau, mi hijo) y Paula tiene casi 4. Las dos, sobretodo Mar, son pequeñas princesas. Les encanta el color rosa, las flores y las muñecas. Estas pequeñas composiciones son para la habitación que comparten.
Las muñequitas son hechas por mi y son de Fimo, los ositos son de Yolanda y los apliques de Ascensión.

Mar and Paula are two sisters, daughters of a very good friends of us. Mar has 6 years old (like Arnau, my son) and Paula has almost 4.
Both, specially Mar, are small princesses. They love the pink color, the flowers and the dolls. These small compositions are for the room that they share.
The little dolls are made by me with Fimo, the teddies are from Yolanda and the baby and the car with the rabbit from Ascensión.

El señor elfo - Mr Elf

Todavía no tiene nombre este elfo pero va cogiendo forma. Es la primera vez que moldeo un cuerpo así que voy muy despacio y con muchos fallos pero no puedo dejar de estar contenta.
Las manos necesitan afinarse y me faltan los zapatos o los pies, aún no lo sé.
La idea es que en una mano sostendrá un animal, tal vez un pájaro.
Y necesita vestirlo claro ;)

Mr Elf has no name so far but he starts to have a body...This is the first time that I sculpt a body so I work very slowly with a lot of mistake. But I have to say that I am quite proud of him.
The hands need to be tuned and of course he needs feet or shoes and something to wear ;)
My idea is that with one of his hands can hold an animal, maybe a bird.

Sorteo de cumpleaños - Birthday Giveaway

Cuando cumplí los 40años ha finales de Diciembre, hice un sorteo para celebrarlo. Quien lo ganará podia escoger que quería de regalo.

La suerte cayó en Cindy de Cindy at her country home, un blog que a mi me gusta mucho.

Cindy tiene una preciosa casita de muñecas todavía sin empezar así que dejó en mis manos la realizsción de lo que yo quisiera.

Como no se el estilo que quiere darle, decidí hacer en miniatura pequeños muebles auxiliares que ella tiene en su casa.

También añadí unos colgadores en forma de corazones ya que a ella le encantan (igual que a mi) y un pastel y un par de croissants.

Aquí tenéis el resultado.

When I turned out 40 years old ending last December, I did a draw with a giveaway to celebrate it. The winner could choose what she wanted as a gift.

The lucky girl was Cindy from Cindy at her country home, a blog that I likevery much.

Cindy has a beautiful small dollhouse but she has to start to work on it so she left in my hands the election.

Since I do not know the style that she wants to use to decorate the dollhouse, I decided to make in miniature small auxiliary furniture that she has in her house. Also I added a few heart hanger because I know that she loves then and a cake and a couple of croissants.

Regalos de Angeles - Gift from Angeles

A finales de la semana pasada recibí un paquete sorpresa. Tuve un regalazo inesperado de Angeles de El rincón de Baldú.
Con Angeles nos une la pasión por las minis en general, por las naúticas y las de brujas en particular y que ella originariamente es de Terrassa, la ciudad donde yo vivo aunque haga mucho ahora que su residencia habitual es en Ibiza.
Así que me mandó minis naúticas (la tortuguita es una belleza), una super original poción de bruja (Fantástica) y ah!....una pequeña joya: un sombrerito y su bolso que ya os digo yo iran a parar a la habitación shabby chic. (parece que entre todas me vais a hacer la escena...que bien, je, je).
Gracias Angeles de verdad, tuve una ilusión muy grande al ver el paquete.

At the end of last week I received a surprise pacrcel. I had an unexpected wonderful gift from Angels (El rincón de Baldú).
With Angels we have several things in common: our passion for miniatures in general, and for nautical and witchy minis in particular, she originally is from Terrassa, the city where I live though she lives in Ibiza (Balearian Islands) since a lot of years ago..
So she has sent me nautical minis (the tiny turtle is a beauty), a super original witchy potion (Fantastic) and ah! .... a small jewel: a tiny hat and its purse that I already know that they will be placed at my shabby chic room.
It seems that between all of you gals and so many gifts, I will have the scene made very soon... ha , ha).

Intercambio de cumpleaños con Mercedes - Birthday SWAP with Mercedes

Yo no sé si es porque tengo suerte o cual será la razón pero todos los intercambios que he hecho han resultado fantásticos. Mucho talento hay en este mundo.
Mercedes de Liberty Biberty en Nueva Zelanda comparte conmigo algo más que una afición a las miniaturas, compartimos día de nacimiento. Es decir cumplimos años el mismo día. Esta casulaidad nos llevó a empezar a habar via mail y a proponer un intercambio.
Aquí tenéis el resultado. Mercedes envió unos paquetes fantásticamente envueltos y acompañados de una carta y una postal que creo que enmarcaré porque es de una hada con dos osos (de artista neozelandesa) y que refleja magia.
Hace un tiempo publiqué que quería realizar un dormitorio shabby chic en miniatura pues...ya tengo varias piezas principales!!
Confieso que llevaba meses persiguiendo que alguien me hiciese o puediese comprar una colcha en patchwork (yo y la aguja no nos llevamos muy bien todavía) y ¡sorpresa! Mercedes me ha hecho uno con cojines a juego.
También a llegado una sus mini muñecas (pequeñísima) super bien hecha y delicada, jarritas, frascos antiguos y ¡oh! una de sus famosas mesitas....
Sinceramente estoy feliz, me encanta...tendré que empezar pronto el dormitorio ;)

I do not know if it is because I am a lucky woman or which will be the reason but all the SWAPs that I have done have been great. Too much talent in this world
Mercedes from Liberty Biberty in New Zealand shares with me something more than an interest to the miniatures, we share the same birthday. This coincidence led us to meet us by mail and proposing a SWAP.
Here you have the result. Mercedes sent me the tiny packages fantasticly wrapped and accompanied of a letter and a postcard that I believe that I will frame because belongs to a fairy with two bears (of a New Zealand artist) and reflects magical light and atmosphere.
Some time ago I published that I wanted to do a shabby chic bedroom shabby and ... Now I have several principal pieces!!
I confess that since some months I want thinking about who can make me (or buy) a patchwork quilt because I love it (The needle an myself are not a really good friends) and surprise! Mercedes has done one for me with matched cushions.
Look also one of her tiny dolls (believe when I say awesome) super well done, detailed and delicate, tiny jugs, old enalmeware flasks and oh! One of her famous tables....Perhaps my favourite but it is really difficult to choose
Sincerely I am happy, I love them ... I will have to begin soon my bedroom ;)
