My Escena Japonesa en American Miniaturist - My Japanese style room box in American Miniaturist

 

 

En Abril de 2011 publicaba las fotos de una escena japonesa para mi guapísima sobrina Ainhoa, con un montón de fotos que podeis ver aquí y con toda la historia en español.

Hace poquitos meses, la editora de American Miniaturist, de ponía en contacto conmigo para publicarla en su revista. Y hoy ha llegado a mis manos el ejemplar de la revista que se publicará en Junio con el reportaje de mi escena.

Un millón de gracias a la revista, a su editora y a todo el equipo por hacer de hoy un dia precioso.

No es la primera vez que se publican mis trabajos en una revista pero cada vez es simplemente genial y maravilloso.

Few months ago, the editor of American Miniaturist, got in touch with me to publish it in their magazine. And today has come to hand the copy of the magazine to be published in June with the story of my room box.
A million thanks to the magazine, its editor and the whole team for making a lovely day today.

It's not the first time that my work has been featured but every time it's simply great and wonderful.

 

Escena Japonesa para Ainhoa - Japanese Roombox for Ainhoa

Por fin la escena japonesa para mi sobrina Ainhoa y su chico Iván está terminada y en su nueva casa. Habéis visto ya buena parte de ella a través de las diferentes entradas que he ido haciendo a lo largo de los últimos 9 meses, clicad aquí y veréis todos los regalos y de quien son

Está hecha con la ayuda internacional de muchas amigas miniaturistas. Así que un gran GRACIAS a todas ellas porqué sino no sería está escena de esta manera: Sonya, Susanne, Sans, Mª Carmen, Eva, Caterina , Paky y Yolanda.

 La escena está basada en dos colores, rojo y negro y las botas de nieve tradicionales japonesas que me envió mi querida Sans desde Singapur marcaron que  los paneles de papel de arroz del fondo se abrieran a un jardín de estilo nipón nevado.

La única licencia es la muñequita Kokeshi en azúl que me gustó.

Finally I have finished the Japanese roombox for the new home of my niece Ainhoa and her boyfriend Iván. You have already seen a lot of details in several post during the last 9 months, click here and you will see all the gift and from who. A big THANK YOU to all of them because if not this roombos does not exists in this way: Sonya, Susanne, Sans, Mª Carmen, Eva, Caterina, Paky y Yolanda.

It has been done with the international help of a lot wonderful mini friends. The roombox is based in two colours as you can see, red and black and the traditional japanese winter boots that my dear Sans sent me from Singapore guide the scene, the rice panels has been opened to a traditional and snowy japanese garden.

My licence in blue was to add the small doll, a kokeshi.

Orquídea en miniature - Miniature Orchid

La escena japonesa para mi sobrina Ainhoa y su chico Iván está casi lista, solo un par de detalles más y el marco. Este fin de semana por fin me he puesto a hacer esta orquídea de un kit de Templewood miniatures. Y os enseño donde está colocada...el resto de la escena completa tendrá que esperar un poco más a ver la luz :)

The japanese roombox for my niece Ainhoa and her husband Iván is almost finished, only a couple of details and the frame. This weekend I have finally done the orchid thanks to a kit from Templewood ministures. I show you where I put he orchid...the rest of the finished roombox is a secret I you will have to wait :)

Escena Japonesa para Ainhoa - Japonese Roombox for Ainhoa

Seguro que recordareis que a principio de verano solicité ayuda para esta escena japonesa, una escena que será para mi sobrina Ainhoa y su chico Iván. De esa llamada salieron muchos intercambios nacionales e internacionales (los detalles aquí). 

Por fin me puse a ello y aquí tenéis un avance. Me queda aún una pared por llenar. Tengo un Buda bastante grande que podría ir allí o tal vez un mueble....tengo que pensarlo :)

La idea de la escena es que los paneles japoneses (hechos con papel de arroz) se abren para dar paso a un jardín japonés nevado. Las botas de nieve tradicionales japonesas descansan en el escalón para poder salir afuera. Cuando esté terminado explicaré todos los detallitos.

I am sure that you remember that in early summer I ask for japanese items for a roombox, a roombox that will be for my niece Ainhoa and its husband Iván. From that call several I have done several SWAPS around the world (details here). 

Finally I start the Japanese Scene here you have an update. I have still one wall to finish. I have  a Buda quite big that could be appropiate or perhaps a cabinet...I do not know :)

The roombox idea is that the japanese panels (with rice paper) are opened to see the snowed japanese garden and the  japanese traditional boots are there, in the step. Just in case someone want to go out.

When I finish the roombox I will explain everything.

Regalos - Gifts

Esta semana recibí el intercambio de Italia, de Caterina, para mi escena japonesa que pronto empezaré a montar, o eso espero.

Como veis hay de todo, un precioso biombo, zapatos, abanicos, origami, opera con Madame Butterfly y muchos libros de Ikebana, bonsais, jardines japoneses....

Muchísimas gracias, ya sabes lo mucho que me ha gustado.

This week I have received a SWAP from Italy, from Caterina for my japanese roombox that I hope to start soon.

As you can see there is a beautiful panel, japanese shoes, fans, origami, Madame Butterfly opera and a lot of books about Ikebana, bonsain, Japanese garden...

Y estoy de suerte últimamente porque gané el segundo premio del sorteo de Lisette. Es mucho más bonito al natural que en foto sobretodo la casita que viene con su alfombra y todo. Una pequeña joya. Gracias a ti también Lisette, les buscaré un bonito sitio.


And lately I am a lucky woman because I won the second prize of Lisette's giveaway. Much beautiful when you see them in reality than in picture, the tiny house has a very tiny carpet!!! A little treasure.

Más regalos y mi primer mercadillo - More gifts and my first stand

Pues sí, este sábado pondré mi puestecito de artesanía en el Mercado de Artesanos de Valldoreix (cerquita Barcelona). Todos los sábados por la mañana hay mercado de frutas, verduras y productos de alimentación artesanales. El primer sábado de cada mes se añaden los artesanos. ¡¡Solicité un puesto y me han aceptado!!

Soy novata, así que deseadme suerte :) Pondré a la venta mis bisutería (collares y pendientes) y mis miniaturas. Quien quiera acercarse será muy bienvenido. La semana que viene os cuento que tal y enseñaré alguna foto.

Yes, this Saturday morning I will place my first stand in the Artisan Market of Valldoreix (close to Barcelona).

Every Saturday there is a natural open air food market. And the first saturday of every month the artisan join it. I requested a place and they accepted me!!

It will be my first time so wish me good luck! :)

Susan ha enviado para la escena japonesa, materiales auténticos japoneses y unas perfectas botas tradicionales japoneses que se usaban en invierno que os aseguro que al natural son sorprendentes.

Susan has sent real japanese raw materials for the japanese roombox and a perfect japanese traditional boots for the winter. They are amazing!

Empiezan a llegar - They are arriving

Las primeras miniaturas de la ayuda que pedí para realizar una escena de temática japonesa para mi sobrina Ainhoa, empiezan a llegar. Al final serán 7 intercambios si no he contado mal.

Los tres primeros llegaron a finales de Agosto justo antes de irme de vacaciones a Menorca y aquí los tenéis....Fantástico...¿Habéis visto que montón de cosas? desde un jardín zen, a comida, palillos, decoración, un gong, té, estanterías, lámparas...

The first miniatures from the help that I requested for the japanese style roombos for my niece Ainhoa, start arriving. Finally I will be 7 SWAPS if I am not wrong.

Ayuda - Help

Esta es la historia. Tengo una preciosa sobrina de 25 de años, Ainhoa, que ha empezado su vida en común con Iván, un chico realmente majo. Al preguntarle a Ainhoa que quería como regalo me dijo que una escena japonesa en rojo y negro básicamente porque haria juego con los muebles de su comedor.
Y ahí me tenéis, empezándola. La pared del fondo irá con paneles de papel de arroz blanco y creo que se verá de fondo un jardín japonés....Me gustaría que fuera un sala de estar-comedor y tal vez separado por un biombo un pequeño dormitorio con una cama-futón...o solo comedor....o no sé.
El tema es que lo tengo que hacer todo, así que os pido ayuda. Estaba pensándo en hacer un intercambio, miniaturas estilo japones (en colores básicos de rojo-negro o blanco) a cambio de algo que queráis mío, algo que os guste o necesitéis. Me vale muebles como una mesita baja, cojines, el futón con una colcha oriental, alfombras, objetos de decoración, sushi......Escribidme al mi e.mail (está arriba a la derecha en mi blog) y hablamos. Me gustaría hacerle una bonita escena que reflejase lo bonito de este mundo, de las miniaturas y de mis amig@s de la blogosfera. Muchas gracias por adelantado :)
Ah! Y no tengo prisa, el intercambio puede ser después del verano, en otoño.




This is the story. My beautiful 25 years old niece has started her life in common with Ivan, a handsome and charming young man. When I asked Ainhoa about what they need for their new flat in barcelona, she told me that I would love to have a Japanese miniature roombox in red-black because would match with the colors of their dinning room. So here I am....starting.
I would like a dinning room with a bedroom (with a futon) separated by a screen or only dinning room...or I do not know yet. The wall that is not still painted will be a panel with white rice paper and perhaps with a door with a japanese garden view.
The issue is that I have to do everything and I ask for some help. I am thinking in a SWAP, I need japanese styled miniatures (basically white-red-black) and I will offer you what you want or need. I need furnitures (low tables, the futon, a rug, cushions, and bedspread with oriental fabric, decoration items, sushi.......
Write me and e-mail (side bar of my blog) and we will talk. I would like to do a beautiful roombox that reflects this beautiful world of miniatures and my blogland friends. Many thanks in advance :)
