Taller y miniaturas - Workshop and miniatures

Un nuevo taller en Evolve miniaturas, esta vez un Viernes mañana, el próximo sábado 28 de Abril.

Haremos un perchero-estante de madera y otro metálico, todo muy shabby (o no, si lo queréis decorado de otra manera). Los haremos, los pintaremos y haremos carteles vintage de hojalata para decorarlos.

Tengo un pequeño trocito de Evolve alquilado para poder poner a la venta mis miniaturas. Aquí tenéis una vista general de hace unos días. Las miniaturas pueden ir variando a medida que se vendan o que yo añada cosas como así está pasando. Un lugar perfecto en una preciosa tienda, donde Laura poco a poco va creando un bonito pequeño mundo.

I have a small space in Evolve miniatires to sell my miniatures. Here you have a general view from few days ago. A beautiful place in a pretty shop.

Hay también a la venta pequeñas bolsitas llenas de minúsculas bolitas de colores, anisetes, para decorar pasteles, cupcakes, hacer caviar (con las negras), polvo de hadas...lo que os ocurra, en 12 colores diferentes y también en mezcla de todos colores. No son fáciles de encontrar y menos en cantidades pequeñas.

Y también bolsitas con 50 hojitas verdes de diferentes tipos, sobretodo una para hacer hiedra y enredaderas super pequeñitas.

Mini quedada Internacional - International mini meeting

Susan volvió a Barcelona después de su tour Europeo de Italia, Holanda, Alemania y Polonia. Llegó la noche del viernes 30 de Marzo feliz y sonriendo como siempre después haber conocido tanta gente maravillosa, tantos lugares y haber visto la feria de minis de Arnhem.
Por la mañana paseamos por Terrassa (en otra entrada ya pondré fotos) y por la tarde teníamos mini quedada en mi casa!!
La mejor forma de conocer cara a cara gente que vive en la otra punta del mundo y con la que has hablado tantísimas veces a través del e-mail o de los comentarios de los blogs o facebook, amigas en la distancia. Aún me sorprende el milagro de la blogosfera y del mundo de las miniaturas después de 3 años y medio. Me hace muuuuuy feliz que Susan estuviese en casa con nosotros unos días, que compartiéramos tantas cosas, que nos acercásemos más y además que nuestras amigas (sus amigas y mis amigas) se juntasen un día en casa para compartir emociones, risas y minis.
¿Como fue la mini quedada? Pues muy bonita, esa es la verdad y divertida, intentando traducir a unas y a otras para que nos entendiéramos, suerte que Marta también traducía (gràcies!).
Por cierto, un recuerdo a Yolanda que no pudo venir, te echamos de menos.


Susan came back to Barcelona after her European tour in Italy, Netherlands, Germany and Poland. She arrived the night of March 30th happy and smiling as always after meeting so many wonderful people, visiting pretty places and having see Arnhem mini Show.
On the morning we walk around my city Terrassa (I will post some pictures in another blog entry) and at the afternoon we had a mini meeting at home!!!!
The most wonderful way to meet people which you have talked a lot of times though e-mails or thought comments in blog and facebook, a friends in distance. I am still shocked for the miracle of blogland and miniature blog after more than 3,5 years. I feel soooooooo happy that Susan stayed at home with us, that we share a lot of things, that we got closer and also that our friends (her friends and my friends too) could join them one day at home to share emotions, laughs and of course minis.
How was the mini meeting? Very beautiful, really and fun, trying to translate everything I could, I was lucky that Marta help me to translate ☺
By the way, Yolanda could not come, we miss you!

Otra historia maravillosa es que he hecho nuevas amigas, como Birgit (and Flutterby), y he fortalecido algunas que ya estaban, me he acercado más a las otras miniaturistas que han alojado a Susan también en sus casas, como Rosanna y Ewa. Por supuesto era la excusa perfecta de intercambiar algunas minis ☺.
Another wonderful thing is that I have new friends, like Birgit (and Flutterby), and I get closer to other ones, like Rosanna and Ewa, because all of them have hosted Susan in their homes. Of course we have exchange some gifts ☺.


Rosanna, me ha enviado dos preciosas (super bonitas) cubre teteras para mis hadas...no me decidía si poner la roja o la verde pero al final creo que dejaré la roja y la verde la usaré en algún nuevo proyecto.
Rosanna, sent me two pretty (really pretty) teacozys for my fairies...I was doubting about using the red one or the green one but at the end I thing that I will use the red one and I will keep the green for another project.

Mirad el precioso bolso, para mi art noveau, que llegó desde Polonia y que ahora luce en mi armario en miniatura. una pequeñas joya. Gracias Ewa ☺

Y el primer regalo que llegó hace ya muchos días, la primera vez que Susan aterrizó en Barcelona el 15 de Marzo. Cindy (de Snowfernclever) lo enviaba desde Singapur, es alucinante, super pequeño y PERFECTO. Esta mujer es una crack y tiene un talento inmenso. Puso uno a la venta en su tienda Etsy y se vendió super rápido.


The  first gift that arrived, a lot of days ago, the first time that Susan landed in Barcelona. Cindy (from Snowfernclever) from Singapur....Amazing, super tiny and PERFECT. Cindy you are very Talented and your work is awesome ☺. She listed one in her Etsy shop and it was sold so fast.

Reto entre amigas - Challenge between friends

Esto empezó en Facebook, Pilar puso la foto del final de esta entrada, preciosa por cierto y lanzo el reto de hacerlo. Fuimos bromeando, picándonos hasta que al final cuatro de nosotras (Pilar, Susi, Mª José y yo) decidimos hacerlo. Este es mi resultado, no tengo cama así que...

El candelabro lo hizo el marido de Susi y yo solo pinté y decoré. Gracias!!!

This started in Facebook, a friend Pilar posted the last picture of this post, a very beautiful picture and she started to say that we can do it.....we joke and we push each other and finally four of us (Pilar, Susi, Mª José add myself) decided to do it in my month. This is my result, I have no bed so......

The chandeleir was done by Susi's husband and I only have decorated, painted.....Thank you!

La tienda que hace y vende casitas hadas, cercana a mi casa, donde vendo algunas de mis miniaturas -El Balconet de Guachipilotes, C/ Del Nord 105, Terrassa, Barcelona - tiene cosas fantásticas (tengo que hacerle fotos y dedicarle una entrada). Carme, su dueña, está en proceso de compra de unas cuantas hadas que hace la fantástica 

Silke Janas-Schloesser. Como Carme no domina en inglés me pidió si podía hacerle de enlace con Silke y así llevamos unos poquitos meses. Carme también quiso comprar este precioso libro, una recopilación de brujas (buenas) del mejor trabajo de Silke en 20 años. Y cuando Silke nos lo envió, cual fue mi sorpresa, que había añadido un libro de regalo para mi!!! Que suerte la mía, no sabéis lo bonito que es, te quedas con la boca abierta del talento tan inmenso de esta mujer. Yo tan feliz bailando por casa☺

The shop that do and sell fairy houses, where I sell some of my miniatures, has very beautiful things (I have to take pictures and write an entire post). Carme, the owner, in in process of buying some fairies made by the talented Silke Janas-Schloesser. As Carme does not speak English, I am the one that write emails during the last few months. Carme also ordered this book, where You´ll find fullsize pictureswhich show more than 50 handmade figures, characters and dolls in this book, miniatures in 1/12th scale as well as bigger figures. This book has been printed to celebrate 20 years of wonderful creations.

When we recieved teh book, Silke had been added one extra book for me as a gift!! I started to dance at home, very very happy because it is gorgeous!!

Mis talleres en Drap miniaturas para Abril - My Workshop in Drap miniatures

Ya sabéis que he empezado a dar talleres en Miniaturas Drap en Barcelona.

Pinchad: talleres de Drap y veréis el calendario de los talleres para Abril y primeros días de Mayo.

Este arbolito, un naranjo enano será uno de los nuevos talleres que impartiré (pronto podré dar fechas). Da mucha trabajo pero queda fantástico.

There are the new workshops for the next month like this small oranhe tree that have a lot of work but looks beautiful.

This is the result of the medieval books workshop last March 14th. Few people but sooo nice.

Como eramos tan pocas dio tiempo a un "Bonus" e hicimos un par de libros más.

El pásado miércoles 21 de Marzo realizamos estos surtidos de panes Mediterráneos. Aquí el "bonus" por ser poquitas fue enseñar a hacer un pan cortado con sus migas.
