Más cocina rústica - More rustic kitchen

Aún no está acabada...estoy en esa etapa de ahora pongo, ahora quito y aún tengo que llenar la alacena y hacer algunos detallitos y al final enmarcar. Pero ya se empieza a ver bien :)

Yo la veo como un rincón de una cocina rústica. Cuando sean las fotos definitivas pondré de quien és cada artículo que hay en ella. Paciencia.

It is still not finished ... I'm at that stage That now I put, now I remove and even now I have to fill the pantry and make some little details. But it starts to look good :)

For me it it as a corner of a rustic kitchen. When I publish the final photos I will write who gave me every item o who is the artisan. Patience.

Aunque no llega ni a tutorial os contaré como he hecho las vigas. 
Muy Fácil, cortamos pedazos de madera, en este caso redonda, a la medida deseada.
Although it is not even tutorial will tell you how I made the rafters. 
Very easy, cut pieces of wood, in this case round, to the lenght desired.

Hacemos las vigas inperfectas (pero más realistas), con un cúter, Como si las fuesemos pelando.
With a cuter, we peels the roof beams, looking imperfect but more realistic and old

Las teñimos con tites de anilina (se mezclan con agua) del color que se quiera y se colocan A mi me gustan oscuras.
We dye the rafters with aniline dyes (mixed with water) of the color you want and just placed them. I like them dark.

 Una silla de plástico oscura, le di una capa de imprimación, después en blanco y finalmente con pinturas acrílicas rebajadas con agua, en verde y marrón (quitando el sobrante con un paño).
A dark plastic chair. First I paint it with a primer, and finally paint with white acrylic patina, in green and brown (remove the excess with a cloth).

 

Y lo último que he hecho ha sido esa fresquera que aún no está terminada. Las puertas aún no están bien colocadas y falta llenarla. Está hecha con madera de balsa y el adorno es de cartulina. La reja de las puertas ha salido de un colador pequeño que desmonté. Mi trabajo con la madera no es muy bueno (me peleo con ella), pero ha salido suficiente bien para ponerla. Aunque me encantaría saber hacerlo mejor.

And the last thing I did was the meat safe (I am not sure about English name) that is not yet completed. The doors are not yet in place and Have to fill it. It is made of balsa wood and the ornament with cardboard. The grill from doors come from a colander that I disassemble.

My work with wood is not very good (I fight with it), but has come out well enough to put it.

Tutorial, pared de piedra - Tutorial stone wall

Y seguimos con la escena. Una vez realizado el suelo vamos a por la pared de piedra.

And I continue with the scene. Once the floor is done, it's time for the stone wall

Recortamos las piedras de un cartón, cuanto más arrugado mejor, de diferentes tamaños. Yo uso los protectores de cartón de tóners de impresoras de oficina. Una vez cortadas damos una capa de imprimación con Gesso.

We cut the stones from cardboard, the more wrinkled better, different sizes. I use protective cardboard office printers toners. Once they are cut, paint with a primer (Gesso).

Cuando la imprimación está seca, yo le he dado una capa de gris (sacando el sobrante con un trapo) y poco después con un marrón color miel (el mío se llama honey brown) y también quitando el sobrante con un trapo. 
When the primer is dry, I have given a coat of gray (removing the excess with a rag) and soon after a honey color (mine is called honey brown) and removing the excess with a rag.

Ya tenemos las piedras. Ahora toca la borada y el resto de pared
We already have the stones. Now time for grouting and the rest of the wall.

Hay muchas maneras, lo que yo he hecho es parecido a un papel maché sencillo. Papel de cocina cortado a trozos y en remojo.
There are many ways, what I've done is like a simple paper mache. Paper towels cut into pieces and soak.

Se trituran con el turmix, siempre con agua 

Blen the paper with water with the blender

Ya bien triturada, la pasta se pone a escurrir.

Once is well blended, drain the pulp

Al quitarle mucha agua queda más pequeña

By removing water is much smaller

Ponemos la pulpa en una bolsa y añadimos cola blanca y se remueve hasta que quede bien integrada.

Put the pulp in a bag and add white glue and stir until well integrated

Con esta pasta se rellenan la pared y vamos poniendo encima las piedras con un poco de cola

This paste is used to fill the wall and putting up the stones with some glue

Queda muy realista y rústico. Ahora a por las vigas....

It is very realistic and rustic. Now for the rafters ....

Año nueva y nueva escena - New year and new roombox

Hola!! ¿como ha empezado el 2014?
Yo feliz porque tengo un montón de mini proyectos para mi y he conseguido empezar uno.
¿Os acordáis de mi escena marinera? Sino podéis ver las fotos aquí. Pues hace tiempo tenía una cajade madera (era para poner pañuelos de papel) idéntica (20cmx20cmx6.5cm aprox) con lo que quería hacer una escena hermana de la marinera pero con otra temática. Así que me he puesto a ello, vamos hacer una escena rústica relacionada con la cocina. Tengo un montón de regalos de amigas miniaturistas (sobretodo de las ferias) que me irán genial, algunas compras y por supuesto mis minis.

Hi!! So far how is for you the new year 2014?
I am happy because I have lots of mini projects in mi head and finally I have started one.
Do you remember my Mediterranean roombox? If not, click here to see pictures. I had an identical wooden box (originally for paper serviette - paper napkins) (20cmx20cmx6.5cm aprox) so I want to to a sister roombox but with different theme. So I have started, it will be a rustic scene related with kitchn. I have lots of greats miniatures, gifts from friends at mini shows, some purchases and of course my own minis.

Para hacer el suelo lo he hecho con cartón de scrapbooking de 2mm de grosor. Con lápiz he marcado las baldosas y con un punzón o una herramienta de repujado he ido marcado las juntas, haciendo los surcos.
Luego una capa de imprimación que tapará poros y prepara el cartón para la pintura.

To make the floor I have use scrapbooking cardboard, 2mm thick. With a pencil I marked the tiles and with a punch or embossing tool I have gone marking the joints, making the grooves.
Then I have used a primer that clog the pores and prepare the carboard for painting.

Primero he usado pintura al oleo negra, poniendo y quitando rápidamente el sobrante con un trapo. Y inmediatamente encima pintura al oleo color teja. También quitando el sobrante con un trapo. Los colores se mezclan, predomina el negro en las juntas y da ese aspecto de suelo de terracota viejo.
Dejamos secar y le he dado una capa fina de barniz tapaporos para protegerlo (satinado siempre, nunca en brillo). ¿que os parece? ¿os gusta?

First I used black oil painting, quickly putting and removing the excess with a rag. And just above oil painting tile color. Also removing the excess with a rag. The colors are mixed, black predominates in the joints and gives the appearance of old terracotta floor.
Let it dry and I gave her a thin layer of lacquer sealer to protect it (always satin, never in brightness). What do you think? Do you like it?

Llevo unos meses comprando miniaturas para mis nuevos proyectos así que las iré enseñando poco a poco. Empezamos por las que hace más tiempo que compré.
Sine few months ago I am buying miniatures for my new projects so I will post them gradually. I would like to start with the one that I bought first, quite a long time ago.

Un maravilloso bloque de madera de carnicero, fantástico, hecho a mano de Weston miniature. Quedará genial en mi futura mini cocina.
A wonderful butcher wooden block, handmade. Really great from Weston miniature. I am sure that would look great in my future mini kitchen.

Y del maravilloso tandem que forman MªJosé y su marido (miniaturasmjose), este par de cuchillos, la tabla de madera para cortar y un cortador de patatas que son absolutamente reales y perfectos, aparte de diminutos. Me encantan.

And from the wonderful tandem forming by M ª José and her husband (miniaturamjose), this pair of knives, wooden board and a potato slices that are absolutely real and perfect, apart from tiny. I love them.

Minismodernas y mis miniaturas en Navidad y en Barcelona

Minismodernas (www.minismodernas.es) abre mañana por la tarde una tienda efímera (temporal) en las Galerías Maldà en pleno centro de Barcelona donde venderán todas sus
Miniaturas. estoy muy feliz porque una pequeña selección de mis miniaturas estarán con ellos en su tienda.
Recordad que sólo estará abierta en la campaña navideña des de mañana 6 de Diciembre por la tarde hasta Reyes.
Acercaros a la tienda en estos días y disfrutad

Madrid y Jennifer (Windy Point Miniatures)

Ya pasó. La feria de Tom Bishop Madrid 2013 terminó hace unos días y yo aún estoy disfrutando de las sensaciones y de ese estado de felicidad al que se llega en los días previos-durante y post feria. Por supuesto siendo expositora también llevas un poco de estres, nervios y cansancio....mucho cansancio. pero el lado humano de las ferias es maravilloso, el volver a ver a la gente, en conocer a nueva, las risas, las palabras bonitas a tu trabajo....y el cansancio, mucho cansancio..¿os he dicho que estaba cansadísima? :)

Gracias, miles de gracias a todos los que habéis comprado, y os habéis llevado un pedacito de mí.

 GRACIAS DE CORAZÓN

También miles de gracias por todos los regalitos que me habéis dado (aún no he hecho la foto, lo siento) y que seguro iré encontrando lugar para ellos, gracias a los que os acercasteis a saludar y a lo que siempre me decís cosas bonitas a través del blog o del Facebook, a esas incondicionales que tengo. Que ilusión volver a veros  o poneros cara después de hablar tantas veces por el ciber espacio. Gracias a mis vecinas de mesa (A Carme y Simón por un lado y a Madelva y a Esti por el otro). Gracias a los que sois más cercanos y que me preguntabais si necesitaba algo cada vez que pasabais....A las nuevas amistades como Estefanía y Juan, o Loredana Tonetti con la que he hablado más este año. Me reí mucho en las dos cenas...Begoña, Susi, Vicent, Angeles, Jennifer...Y en alguna que otra copa posterior con el gran grupo 

Las compras (fantásticas) ya las pondré otro día porque aún tengo pendientes varias que han llegad estos últimos meses y que son para mi nuevo proyecto personal.

Solo esta primera foto es mía y la hice antes de abrir, el resto son "robadas" a mis amigos Raquel, Migue y Paqui, Teresa...gracias

Pero este año Madrid ha tenido un plus....

It's late at night so sorry for English mistakes in my traslation...

It's over. Tom Bishop 's Fair 2013 Madrid ended few days ago and I am still enjoying the sensations and that state of happiness which is reached before during and post - show. Of course being an exhibitor also take some stress, nerves and tired .... very tired. but the human side of the fairs is wonderful,  see again friends, meet new ones, the laughs, the nice words about  your work and ....fatigue, very tired .. I told you that was so tired ? :)
Thanks, many thanks to all who have purchased , and I have taken a bit of me .
 Also many thanks for all the gifts you have given me (I have not yet made the photo, sorry) and surely I'll find room for them, thanks to those who came to my booth to say hello and those who always tell me nice things through blog or Facebook, those. It was so great see you again or link a face with a name after talking many times by cyberspace. Thanks to my neighbors (Carme and Simon on one side and Madelva and Esti on the other) . Thanks to those who are closest and that asked me if I needed anything (I was alone on my stand) .... A new friendships like Estefanía y Juan or Loredana Tonetti with whom I spoke this year.
Purchases ( fantastic ) and put another day because I still have several outstanding outisde recent months and are for my new personal project. I really laughed at the two dinners ... Begoña, Susi, Vicent, Angeles, Jennifer ...

But this year Madrid has had a plus ....

Madrid además ha sido un encuentro cultural entre Ivana y Jorgelina que llegaron de Argentina (son encantadoras) y mi dulce Jennifer (Windy Point miniatures) que llegó de Canadá y que el domingo por la noche se vino conmigo en el AVE a Barcelona y a pasar una noche en casa y depués estuvimos dos días recorriendo la ciudad. Me encantó estar con ella, disfruté mucho forjando una nueva amistad. Unos días fantásticos a su lado. Deseando ya volver a verla.

Madrid has also been a cultural encounter between Ivana and Jorgelina who came from Argentina (they are lovely) and my sweet Jennifer (Windy Point miniatures) who came from Canada and the Sunday night came with me on the AVE (high speed train) to Barcelona and spend a night at home. We spent two days touring the city too. I loved being with her, enjoyed forging a new friendship. Some great days at her side. Wishing to see her again.

Os muestro el fantástico trabajo en miniatura de Jennifer....Todo esto es mío!!! que feliz soy. Un trocito es comprado a Jennifer antes de la feria y el resto me lo regaló....Quedará de lujo en mi futura cocina...Todo es pequeñísimo, sobretodo los cubiertos y de una delicadeza extrema. Si queréis ver más, este es su blog y su tienda Etsy.

I want to show the fantastic miniature work from Jennifer .... All this is mine! I'm veeery happy. Part of them were purchased from Jennifer before the Show and the rest was a gift ....Will look luxury in my future kitchen. Everything is tiny, especially cutlery and with extreme delicacy. Y por supuesto en Barcelona hubo miniquedada celebrando que Ivana, Jorgelina y Jennifer estaban en la ciudad. Jennifer y yo comimos además con la encantadora Mª Àngels ya que no pudo venir a la quedada.

And of course in Barcelona it was celebrated a  minimeeting taking advantage that our guests Ivana, Jorgelina and Jennifer were in town. Jennifer and I also had lunch with the lovely Maria Angels as they could not come to the minimeeting
